How does PlantPredict compare to PVsyst?

PlantPredict is a modern cloud-native alternative to PVsyst. It has many capabilities not available in PVsyst including support for terrain following trackers and a full REST API / Python SDK. It runs concurrent simulations at scale without local hardware constraints.

Can I import my existing projects from PVsyst into PlantPredict?

Yes, PlantPredict has a tool that imports your existing PVsyst projects and translates them into native PlantPredict projects automatically. Upload a PVsyst project .zip, and your project (.PRJ) becomes a PlantPredict project. Each calculation variant (.VC#) becomes its own prediction. Modules (.PAN), inverters (.OND), weather (.MET), and 3D shade scenes (.SHD) all come across automatically. Learn more.
